Spaceguard UK is the national focus in the UK for studies into the threat posed to the Earth by collisions with asteroids and comets. We aim to supply accurate and timely information related to the impact hazard to government departments, the media and the public whenever necessary. To do this we have established links with individual scientists and scientific institutions all over the world. In addition, we promote the establishment of a British contribution to the growing international Spaceguard programme.
